JEE Main 2022 LIVE News Updates: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2022 today. The registration portal is now live and candidates can apply at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in two sessions – April and May. NTA will release JEE Main 2022 application form separately for all sessions. Along with the notification, NTA has also released the exam dates, eligibility, pattern, syllabus and other details on the official website.

Students who have completed class 12 or its equivalent examination in the year 2020, 2021 or appearing for class 12 board examination in 2022 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2022. NTA will provide JEE Main 2022 Application Form correction window after the completion of the application process. Candidates will be able to edit any mistake made in the details entered in their application form. Candidates opting for change from reserved to general category will have to pay the difference in application fee through various online means. However, in case of change from General to Reserved category, there will be no refund of difference in fee.

NTA to provide scribe to PWD candidates

“It is to be noted that the scribe will be provided by the National Testing Agency only. Candidates will not be allowed to bring their own scribe,” the official notification reads.

JEE Main 2022: Selection of exam city on the basis of candidate’s address

While applying, candidates have to select any four cities of their choice to appear in JEE Main exam. The choice of center cities will be limited to permanent address status or current address status only.
